To give you an idea of the power of the IV O2 Maximiser drip, a young man in his early 30s came in today. He has a huge indent in his skull from emergency surgery after he had fallen off a horse 20 years ago when the brain started haemorrhaging. A “cyst” formed, which grew, causing pressure and numbness on the right side of the brain, face, eye, ear, neck, and down the arm. The numbness was worsening/growing, and he got no real help from specialists who wanted to operate again. He could not function properly and had to stop his job. He was in constant pain. I saw from the previous assessment that the blood flow in the brain was minimal. We decided to administer an O2 IV drip.
